En el año  2000 nació a Adega O Casal. Formada por cinco socios guiados por el mayor respecto con la tradición de la que se sienten testigos y movidos por un grande amor a la tierra. 
Comenzando con viñas heredadas de los antepados y creciendo pocoa poco. Con el trabajo hecho con cariño y artesanal. Combinando el sabor tradicional con imprescindibles avances tecnológicos. El objetivo es hacer un vino especial para paladares muy exigentes. 
En las viñas de Valdegollufe, A Ponticela, Valdeseara,…, todas en el ayuntamiento de Rubía (Valdeorras) cultivan, de forma selectiva, individualizada y respetuosa con el medio ambiente, las uvas con las que se elabora el extraordinario vino Casal Novo.
